    SASC and Albins

    Southwark Aquatics Swimming Club Southwark Aquatics Swimming Club is pleased to announce that the Club will be continuing their association with Albin’s. After the very sad passing away of the Swimming Club’s President, Dr Barry Albin, his sons Simon and Jon have taken on the roles of President and Vice President of the swimming club. Both Simon & Jon have stated that they are honoured to have been asked by the Club to carry on the tradition of presenting the Barry-Albin Memo

    Congratulations to Zivile who receives the Barry Albin Trophy from Simon Albin for the most improved swimmer of the year. Dr Barry Albin was very proud to be Patron of Southwark Aquatics and he loved receiving e-mail updates letting him know the competition results and individual swimmers’ achievements.     Well done to everyone who swam at the Erith gala over the weekend. Lots of PBs and medals all round and special mention goes to Freya who added another 3 county QTs to her growing list. She now has 9 Surrey QTs, the most from the club. Jessie has her first county time in the 50 breast.
