5K Color Run
It's not all about swimming all of the time..
As you know, in order to be a great competitive swimmer, you not only have to swim lots, you need to eat & hydrate properly; sleep; land train and have fun.
Some of our older squad members took part in the 5k Color Run at Wembley on the 12th June and really did have lots of fun whilst working on their fitness.
We encourage our squad members to attend all training sessions and to also keep land fit by exercising to build up fitness, cardio and strength.
All Southwark borough parks offer free Park Runs on Saturday mornings; just turn up, run and have fun. We have a group of members who attend the Southwark Park run most Saturdays, so get running!
We are looking to re-introduce land training sessions in the new season. Info to follow.
